Pass it on!  In today’s lessons we see God entrusting important news to the frailest of means—human beings.  Through the witness of the devastated nation of Israel, the quarreling community of Corinth, and the curious disciples of John the message of God’s saving purpose is proclaimed to the world.  John the Baptist points to Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.  We look to Him as we follow…so that others may follow our gaze and our steps to Him, too.  May all the world be infected with the love of Christ!
