What do you do after the disaster? How do you pick up the pieces? Where do your turn? To whom do you turn? These are the questions Ezekiel must address. Israel has been conquered and its people taken into captivity. He sees God re-animating a valley full of bones into a vast army. Jesus, crying over the death of his friend, raises Lazarus to life. His command, “Unbind him and let him go!” is what He says to us in the midst of our despair. “Live!”
