Bible Text: 1 Samuel 16:1-13,Ephesians 5:8-14,John 9:1-41 | Pastor: Dr. Ted Moeller | Series: The Daniel Plan
Seeing with the eyes of Christ is a perspective for which most people yearn. Today’s scriptures reveal different examples of such sight with insight. Samuel learns to see with something besides his eyes as he seeks to anoint the next king of Israel. Paul tells the Ephesians to walk in the light of Christ, rather than following the world’s guidance. And in John’s Gospel, it is a blind man—not those well-versed in Scripture—who is the only one who can see who Jesus is. We, too, can see rightly if we listen for God’s guidance and view the world with the light of Christ’s presence in our lives.
