Hanging onto the Glory

Passage: Exodus 34:29-35,Mark 9:2-9

In certain unexpected, grace-filled moments, we are given glimpses of the glory of God, and Christ’s real presence seems especially real to us. In such moments, we worship. But our worship should prime us for service beyond the walls of the church. Christ reaches out to his disciples—even us today!—ministering to our doubts, addressing our misgivings, letting the glow remain, so that our worship is carried from the mountaintops into the valleys.
