Not “Here I Stand,” but “There we go!”

Today we observe Reformation Day—remember the accomplishments of Martin Luther, who sought to holds the Church accountable for clearly communicating the truth of God’s Word. Throughout his prolific writings, Lutheran sought to unleash the Gospel so that lay people might be properly taught its eternal riches and truth. Therefore, today’s service is delineated into several sections corresponding to the Six Chief Parts of Luther’s Small Catechism, through which the fundamental doctrines of the Christian Church are taught.
