You often hear the caution: “If it sounds too good to be true, it is.” But what if that’s not true? Today’s lessons contain from pretty outrageous promises. God dares us to trust in Him; and puts Himself—and His relationship with us—on the line by sending His Son as a baby into our world. A voice (in the wilderness no less!) prepares the way; but that voice is quickly silenced. Jesus announces the time is at hand; but has anything changed? Grace answers with a resounding: Yes!
