Jesus' prayer for His disciples speaks of the unity between God, Jesus, and us. It is a beautiful relationship, but sometimes discipleship does cost. Can we keep the faith when we are unjustly accused? Can we sing God's praises in the dark dungeons of despair? Can we boldly cling to Christ our Savior when the world's foundations are shaken? Check out Acts 16. Just imagine how bold our witness would be if we considered our lives as an enacted prayer-even better: how much God might accomplish through us!
