A woman’s touch. Ruth and Naomi pick up the pieces of their lives and start over in Judah during all the turmoil of the Judges period. An unnamed woman bursts in on a party (in the home of a leper, no less!) to anoint Jesus beforehand for his burial. Both did what they could; and in so doing would be rewarded with God’s favor. We may not know what the future has in store, but we can faithfully trust that God will be with us, to watch over us and guide us.
