There was no ignoring the Holy Spirit on that first Pentecost. A rush of wind, tongues of flame, language barriers overcome. Today we celebrate the Holy Spirit among us—as an advocate, comforter, helper, and encourager in our lives and in our ministries. And the first action is to bridge what divides people—language, politics, ethnicity—and bring them together in mutual understanding. It’s what the Holy Spirit still is doing in, among, and through us.
