Nothing is impossible with God. As Paul says, the power of God working within us is beyond our understanding, imagination, and control. Feeding a giant throng of people with the contents of a child’s lunch was something John called a “sign” – something pointing to something else. Jesus wants us to see His coming kingdom, which bursts our stereotypes and expectations with His gracious abundance. We should dare to ask: “O, Lord, let me accomplish something so unbelievable it can only be because You are doing it!” And see what He has in store…for us, and for the world.
