It’s spring cleaning time!  Jesus has come among us to cleanse us of our sin, those visible sins which clutter up our lives, trip us up, and make us look and feel dirty.  But He also takes care of the invisible sins: our hidden agendas, our infected souls, our fatal addictions.  He doesn’t just storm the Temple in Jerusalem either, He busts into our sanctuaries and holy shrines and overturns our pretensions and pride.  Jesus, that fearless prophet so consumed by the righteousness of God, is determined to do away with whatever it might be that stands between us and a favorable confrontation with and service to a holy and righteous God.
