Jesus shows us what God is really like, inviting us to follow Him into fullness of life. In this new life, we become living stones, built into a spiritual house that no one can destroy; we become a holy priesthood, proclaiming the truth of Christ; we are transformed into God’s own people, that we might extend the loving-kindness of God to the world. Granted, Jesus has prepared a place for us in heaven; but there’s still some work to do on earth.
