The Three Lessons of the Sower
Paul writes, “We live by believing and not by seeing.” Sometimes the way the world judges things—by size, wealth, popularity, etc.—can be deceiving. A tiny, tender twig, a minuscule mustard seed can have a major impact. Why? Because of growth. That is frequently the missing ingredient in our walk of faith: comfortable with what we have, we stop growing, maturing, blossoming, bearing fruit. This is true for individuals; this is true for congregations.
