Waiting to see God’s presence is never easy, and sometimes it comes quite unexpectedly. But God is with us—always abiding, always creating and re-creating—even as we struggle and groan alongside Him in the process. Jacob dreams of angels as he recognizes that God is with him, even though he feels very much alone. All of creation sometimes feels that way, Paul assures us, groaning with birth pains awaiting His promise to be fulfilled. But take heart, all who are lonely, all who feel surrounded by weeds: God is faithful, He is with us, now…and forever.
