Jesus sees the unfolding hour of his death as a time to be glorified. Sometimes in life, those events that strike us as unfortunate, tragic, or bad are, in the gracious handiwork of God, good. Jesus surrenders to His Father’s will that wins victories through defeat and triumphs through suffering. Our victories and triumphs may come the same way. A new covenant, written on our hearts by a loving God who promises to “remember our sins no more.”
