Spoiled Joy

Pastor:
Passage: Exodus 16:2-15,Philippians 1:21-30,Matthew 20:1-16

Even though God always provides everything we need to live, we still seem to find something to complain about. They’ve just been freed from slavery and they complain how much better life was in Egypt. Paul complains—just a bit—about having to remain on earth when he would prefer to be with Christ. And Jesus tells a story about workers who feel hard done by because others who worked less got the same wage as they did. Is it unfair? God will be God, showering blessings with equity, even when we complain—especially when we complain.  Shouldn't that be good news?
