A light shining in the darkness: that is what Christ is. And what we are called to be reflectors of His light, shining upon the earth with justice and righteousness. We don’t have to be brilliant, or even bright in doing so. Paul makes it clear in his recollection of his early days in Corinth. He came weak, nervous, and trembling, simply letting the Gospel—Christ crucified—speak for itself. Even a little glow in the darkness makes a world of difference. Let your light shine.
